Before you begin, you may wish to read Getting Going with LearnToPlay: Ukulele which is part of our LearntoPlay Ukulele Resources and LearnToPlay Ukulele Songbook

• Listen to Happier by Marshmello
• Print off the Happier chord sheet and distribute to the class
• Listen to Happier again, following the chord sheet and the Playalong video
• Notice that the song follows a set pattern of chords – one pattern for the verse and a different pattern for the chorus
• Using your instrument, rehearse and perform individually or as a whole class ensemble
• Play rhythms/strum patterns whilst following the video
