Project Overview

This collection, utilising ChairDrumming resources, enhances listening and performing skills through the exploration of 12 legendary drummers and their associated music genres, including Bonham, Grohl, White and more. Structured in 2 modules with 6 lessons each, the project features one drummer per lesson.

Students will learn basic drumming techniques, play along to iconic tracks, and engage in activities designed for full-class participation. By the end, they will have developed an appreciation for diverse drumming styles and improved their rhythmic abilities.

Where next?

A great collection to follow on from Drumming Legends, is Session Drumming!

You’ve been hired as a session drummer! Using the skills you’ve learned in this project, it’s your task to compose the drum part to 5 tracks, as part of a compilation album, using ChairDrumming, before performing the album live in full.
