In The Style Of is a collection of remix projects where students create their own music using audio and MIDI samples from well-known tracks.
Using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), students rearrange and develop these sounds to produce their own original remix. Each project provides an engaging and accessible way to explore musical structure, texture, rhythm, harmony and creative decision-making.
Projects can be delivered through whole-class teaching, small group work, or independent learning, with structured guidance and downloadable materials available to support lesson delivery.
