- Say the rhythms while counting 1 and 2 and etc
- Count the beat aloud/in thinking voice when playing rhythms
- Maintain a steady beat when playing rhythms
Performing with others:
- Find/stay on (or re-find) the beat when playing along with others
- Maintain rhythms when playing with others
- Follow instructions for beat, tempo and dynamic levels
- Listen carefully to sounds made
- Check technique and adjust as needed
