In this lesson students will:

• Perform a vocal warm up to help focus your attention ready for learning
• Listen to an example of country music – Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver
• Explore the common stylistic features and instrumentation of country music
• Listen to examples of country music by other artists and how musical features and instruments are used in these tracks
• Perform a body percussion part to the focus track
• Sing the main vocal part to the focus track
• Complete a listening diary recording what you like about the different country music examples and why
