How do I join?

Have access to our resource collections within minutes with our easy sign up process:

  1. Head to Plans & Pricing, explore our range of memberships and find the right one for you
  2. Select Get Started under your preferred plan and choose whether you’d prefer to Pay Online monthly or annually via PayPal (for instant access) or Pay by Invoice annually (account activation approved once payment clears)
  3. Enter your school name and press Continue
  4. Fill out the information form to complete your registration. When asked for Account Username we recommend entering either your name or “teacher”, followed by a dash (-), and then your school name – for example, “mrsjones-summerfieldhighschool” or “teacher-summerfieldhighschool
  5. Also input any coupon codes you may have to receive discounts
  6. Click Place Order and become a Musical Futures Online member!

My school doesn't have a large music department - what equipment do I need?

Our content and resources are designed to work with whatever resources you have, for example:

  • Our JustPlay and LearnToPlay programmes can work very successfully with any combination of instruments that you have, or with all students playing the same instrument (i.e. all on ukuleles)
  • MakingMusic utilises both body percussion, chair drumming and/or untuned percussion – you could even use junk percussion for these rhythm based activities
  • Music Technology – you will require access to computers for these resources, but the BandLab DAW is a free online software programme for which we include instructions for access

What style of music are your resources?

The music industry changes fast but we do our best to keep up!

Our Playalong Library features music of all genres from the artists students know and love – including the new releases – but also includes classical composers as well as TV & film themes.

We also keep one eye on examination set works with new resources to help assist you in exam season.

My school has a strict policy regarding downloads - how do I access the resources?

The majority of our the resources are web-based and so there is no need to download any content.

The only only exceptions to this are:

  • Supporting resources such as PDFs (JustPlay Keycards and Get Ready Chord Sheets) for students
  • Audio sample packs to create remixes of popular artists tracks – In The Style Of
